Less Dirt Everyday!

I'm just getting to post from the weekend. We had a busy weekend. We went to pick out our brides maids dresses, had a bridal shower, planned some for the wedding, and graded papers. I also updated our registry with a couple of other things I thought of! Now here I am to update!

We had a nice surprise this weekend when we drove by, LOTS of our dirt is gone off our lot! Don't get me wrong, there is still a nice pile of dirt, but it is diminishing each day! We also walked through the house that has started being built two lots down from us. It is the Florence with the morning room too! It was nice to see the layout of our house finally (our layout is flipped from the model home). I can't wait until that is our house! 16 days to go until they break ground. I've been following some other blogs and reading about pre-construction meetings. Anyone know about when that will be? I'm excited to get that call.

Here are some new pictures from our visit this weekend!

Yay, look at the dirt pile now! Our lot looks a lot bigger without the dirt.

We were wondering why we don't have a sold sticker still...but hey, we know its sold!

I just had to climb the pile!

It was such a nice day, Brian and I can't wait to take a walk around our neighborhood with our dogs!

  1. Just found your blog! Congratulations on building a new home! We are also building a Florence in Western New York. Our house will be complete at the end of this month. Where are you building? Look forward to watching your progress.

  2. I just found your blog, too. It looks like you made some great choices. Our preconstruction meeting was about a week before they broke ground. Congrats on your new home. I'm looking forward to following you blog and watching your progress.

  3. I too just found your blog and would like to welcome you to our little(ever growing) Ryan Homes blogging community. Remember to share your thoughts, ideas, and problems.
