Clear lot FINALLY!

Brian drove by today and told me our lot was clear, so you know I had to drive by too! So off we went. It is clear, and they have framed our neighbors house yet. I can't wait to meet them!
I had to stay late in school today to prepare for a substitute tomorrow, I have a conference in Baltimore. Then we have our guardian meeting at 5. I should be back in time, and I'm excited. We did our floor plan today like they asked us to come with. Brian really wants the alarm system, I'm going to see if we can get a couple months free so we can get used to our payments and then start that. We will see how that goes.

Here are just a couple pictures I took today.

 Oh yeah, we have a driveway now too! I was exciteeeedd!

    Just a point of interest. You get the alarm system no matter what and to the best of my knowledge it is fully functionally...someone set me straight if this is not correct. The payment to Guardian is for the monitoring they do.

    I'm not sure if they will wire the house if you don't get the monthly monitoring. At least that's the impression I got. But if you sign up for the monitoring, you get the alarm system.

    Honestly you pay for it for 3 years and you get at least 10% discount on you're home owners. After the 3 years you can use whomeever you want and not have to worrying about getting new equipment.

    It may be different in different areas, but we didn't get the alarm system nor did we get the equipment.

    I am sooo jealous your lot has officially started it looks great!!!!! Mine doesn't start ground breaking for another 2 weeks and I am soooo wanting it to go faster. The pictures look great and I think its awesome how you are taking pictures now then when its ready you can see the end sight. You can always go back and see the progress of how the house first began. =) sooo exciting!
